The "Rose" is a wonderfully designed memory chest. The panels have been embossed with several roses on a vine. We painted the panels an off white, then glazed over them to produce a stunning contrast between the design and the background. Afterwords, we handpainted the roses and vines to produce the wonderful color seen here. The box is made from solid cherry and has been stained with a mix of Cordovan and Mahogany.

There are several design features that set this memory box apart from the imported and mass produced designs that are common throughout the country.

The interior has been covered in padded felt.
There is intricate bead-work around each rose panel.
Solid brass hinges have been used to attach the lid.
The satin-lacquer finish is remarkably smooth and blemish free.
A removable tray is included and is divided into six compartments.
